Rules & Compliance / Interim Edition
This document defines the current Discovery Phase and the conditions that must be resolved before any formal reward programme is activated.
The public archive is available for exploration. Formal reward submissions and competitive verification are not active. Any future programme will require a separate published version of these rules, including promoter, prize, eligibility, dates, verification, payment and dispute terms.
Formal prize submissions are currently closed. No solution, timestamp, priority position, eligibility claim or reward claim can currently be accepted or reserved through this website.
01 / Document status
This edition governs free public exploration of the Clandestinus archive while the formal reward and verification framework remains under review. Exploration does not create a competition entry, reward claim, priority position or entitlement.
Activation requires confirmation of the promoter, prize funding, eligibility, dates, judging process, privacy arrangements and legal framework.
The Discovery Gate findings channel accepts theories, observations and possible solutions for project review only. It is not a formal prize submission route.
02 / Public Discovery Phase
No payment, registration or purchase is required to use the public Discovery Gate.
Readers may study the books independently and keep private notes, observations and methods.
Discovery findings receive no prize timestamp, ranking, eligibility claim or reward entitlement.
03 / Investigation protocol
The intended method is independent observation, research, reasoning and documentation. A future formal submission must be capable of being reviewed from the participant’s own record.
Solutions are not automatically approved by the website. Any potential solution must be reviewed through the official verification process.
A correct answer alone may not be enough. Participants must satisfy identity, age, location, timing, legal, and compliance requirements.
Publicly posting a solution may affect a participant’s ability to prove original discovery and may create disputes with other participants.
Participants must meet the eligibility requirements listed in the official rules. Eligibility may depend on age, country of residence, local laws, identity verification, and compliance with the submission process.
Project Clandestinus may request reasonable information to confirm identity, eligibility, originality of submission, and compliance with the rules.
Clandestinus Books I and II are published mystery experiences and public entry points into the wider Clandestinus world. Readers may use them to study the symbols, patterns, hidden structure, and possible coded messages.
Buying a book is a purchase of a literary and investigative publication. It does not create an entry, priority position, eligibility claim, or entitlement to any future challenge or reward. Any future participation route will be described separately in its published terms.
Formal submissions are currently closed. The public Discovery Phase is not a submission route. If a future process is activated, the official route will be identified here. Solutions sent through social media, comments, direct messages, private messages, or unofficial channels may not be accepted.
A complete submission should include the decoded message, the participant’s explanation of the method used, relevant page or symbol references, and any other information requested by the submission form.
A submission may be considered valid only if it correctly identifies the required hidden message or solution pathway and explains the method of discovery clearly enough to be reviewed.
Verification may include assessment of accuracy, completeness, originality, timing, internal logic, supporting explanation, and compliance with all applicable rules.
If multiple participants submit correct or partially correct answers, Project Clandestinus may review submission timestamps, completeness, originality, supporting evidence, and verification strength according to the official process.
The first submission received is not automatically guaranteed to qualify unless it satisfies the full validation and eligibility requirements.
Participants should not publish their solution, decoded message, screenshots, method, or supporting explanation publicly before verification is complete.
Public disclosure may affect the participant’s ability to prove original discovery and may create disputes with other participants.
Project Clandestinus may reject any submission suspected of fraud, manipulation, plagiarism, automated abuse, generative-AI solution production, copied material, identity misrepresentation, technical abuse, or violation of the rules.
Any future formal submission process may require disclosure of material assistance or automated tools. Attempts to interfere with the website, verification system, submission process, or other participants may result in disqualification.
A possible Book I discovery reward is under development. No amount, currency, promoter, eligibility, payment entitlement, or reward entry is activated until final rules and funding conditions are published.
No reward claim or entitlement can currently be accepted or reserved.
Any tax, reporting, currency conversion, banking, or legal responsibility connected to a reward may be the responsibility of the recipient, depending on their country of residence and applicable law.
Project Clandestinus may require identity and payment verification before any reward is processed.
Project Clandestinus may update these rules before full activation of the reward process or when needed for legal, technical, security, operational, or fairness reasons.
The latest version published on the official Project Clandestinus website will apply.
Final validation decisions may be made by Project Clandestinus and/or appointed independent reviewers according to the official process.
Project Clandestinus reserves the right to reject incomplete, unclear, non-compliant, fraudulent, or unverifiable submissions.
Formal submission endpoints are offline (HTTP 405 / Closed). This response indicates that the route is not active; it does not receive, timestamp, store or reserve a solution claim.
The service state may change only through a published activation notice and revised rules.
Any future formal submission must be the participant’s own work. Material assistance, automated answer generation, solver software, paid researchers and copied explanations must not be used to produce the solution.
A future form may require an assistance and originality declaration. Accessibility and translation tools that do not generate or interpret the answer are treated separately.
Gambling Act 2005 / provisional compliance structure
Any future prize competition is intended to be assessed against section 14 of the Gambling Act 2005 and specialist legal advice before activation. The project must not be treated as compliant merely because it is described as skill-based.
The intended supporting-deduction standard is cumulative. A participant would need to provide:
A correct answer without a complete, step-by-step supporting deduction would be incomplete and would not satisfy the intended verification standard. The final mechanics, eligibility, free-entry position, judging and jurisdictional treatment remain subject to legal review and published activation terms.

Before submitting
A complete future submission must state the answer and explain how it was found, which symbols or pages support it, and why the interpretation follows from the evidence.
I have kept my solution private.
I can explain my method of discovery.
I understand that a finding is not a formal entry or reward entitlement.
